Description

Micron is hiring a Wet Etch Process Development Engineer to develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and improve wet-etch processes for advanced NAND manufacturing. The role focuses on yield and quality improvement, process margin expansion, manufacturability of next-node solutions, process monitoring and control, equipment and integration evaluation, and cross-functional technology projects. It requires a master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical/Microelectronic Engineering, semiconductor experience, knowledge of chemistry and wet-etch processes, and familiarity with analytical techniques and experimental design. The position is based at Micron’s Singapore manufacturing facility.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical/Microelectronic Engineering
Required Previous Experiences: 2-3 years of semiconductor industry experience
Preferred Qualifications: Deep understanding of chemistry, chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and mass transport
Basic understanding of films, interface engineering, and materials analysis techniques
Understanding of wet-etch integration and structural impacts
Understanding of memory processing and NAND process flows
Working knowledge of experimental data analysis systems
Working knowledge of Design of Experiments
