ASM is hiring a Senior Engineer, Process Engineering for its Global R&D Process Engineering Program focused on epitaxy. The role involves researching, developing, and optimizing semiconductor deposition processes for Si and SiGe materials, conducting experiments and measurements, optimizing equipment, and supporting product demonstrations and knowledge transfer. Candidates should have a relevant PhD and prior experience with epitaxy techniques and characterization methods. The program includes 18–24 months of training at process development hubs in Leuven, Belgium, or Helsinki, Finland, followed by a permanent transfer to a Key Product Unit Process team in Phoenix, Arizona, United States.
