Description
ASM is hiring a Senior Engineer, Process Engineering for its Global R&D Process Engineering Program. The role develops and optimizes semiconductor unit processes for metal and dielectric film deposition using ALD, PEALD, epitaxy, and PECVD, while conducting experiments, troubleshooting equipment, developing process integration methods, and supporting customer demonstrations. Candidates must have a PhD in a relevant field and 0–7+ years of combined education, research, and work experience; the program includes 18–24 months of training in Leuven, Belgium, or Helsinki, Finland, followed by a permanent transfer to a process team in Greater Tokyo, Phoenix, Arizona, or Dongtan Semiconductor Valley, South Korea.
