Emerson is hiring a Product Quality Assurance Engineer to test Ovation and its addon applications, including smoke, first-pass, regression, functional, system, compatibility, and performance testing. The role owns a major software product component across multiple platforms, creates test plans and cases, develops automated and manual tests, reproduces issues, and contributes to testing procedures and engineering quality. Candidates need at least six years of product testing experience involving DCS and related software, testing methodologies, Windows installation, field instruments, controllers, HMIs, and bus technologies; engineering education, networking, ISTQB, virtualization, and power-plant control knowledge are preferred.
