TerraPower is hiring a full-time Senior Engineer, Safety Methods to support the design and licensing of the Natrium Demonstration reactor and the Sodium Fast Reactor Program. The role develops system-level thermal hydraulic analysis methods, closure models, transient analyses, automated workflows, and verification and validation activities, while contributing to method qualification and licensing support. Candidates need a degree in mechanical, nuclear, chemical, or a similar engineering field, at least three years of experience in system-level thermal hydraulic modeling and method development, and familiarity with tools such as RELAP5 3D, GOTHIC, SAS, Python, or MATLAB. The position offers a Washington State salary range of $131,828 to $171,206 and medical, vision, dental, and other benefits.
