Description
Distance Technologies is hiring a Senior Engineer, Sensor Platform to own the sensor platform for its perception team in Helsinki. The role covers selecting and characterizing lidar, thermal, visible/NIR, and IMU/INS sensors; designing recording hardware and networks; synchronizing sensors; performing multi-sensor calibration; managing versioned datasets; and running data-collection projects across automotive, defense, and other perception work. It is a senior, hands-on role requiring Python or C++ and sensor-data-quality expertise, with mostly onsite work at the Helsinki headquarters and relocation support.
