Eversource Energy is hiring one regular Transmission Planning Engineer to lead scenario and probabilistic planning studies, develop low-cost electric power supply solutions, review stakeholder data and assumptions, coordinate vendor and consultant work, prepare engineering reports, and support long-range planning standards and power-system technology strategy. The role requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, at least five years of relevant experience, and expertise in transmission planning, power-system simulation, IBR modeling, transient analysis, and planning procedures. A hybrid arrangement may be available with three days in the office and two days from home; the salary is $156,936 to $165,000 per year.
