Description
GHD is hiring a Senior Tailings Engineer for its Queensland Tailings and Mine Waste Group. The role delivers tailings storage facility and geotechnical designs, manages geotechnical investigations, provides construction certification and field engineering support, leads or supports multi-disciplinary teams across project phases, and conducts surveillance inspections and risk assessments. Candidates need a civil or geotechnical engineering degree, RPEQ or CPEng or the ability to obtain it, 6–12 years of relevant tailings engineering experience, experience with GeoStudio and Muk3D, strong technical writing and geotechnical analysis skills, and a current driver’s license.
