ABB is hiring an onsite Second-Level Propulsion Support Engineer in Bangalore, India, to provide second-level technical support for three-phase electric locomotive propulsion equipment. The role resolves hardware and software issues, coordinates with global engineering and PLCM teams, validates software and logic changes, and supports customer and internal technical interactions. Candidates need an electronics or electrical engineering degree, 5–7 years of experience with three-phase electric locomotives, EMUs, or metros, and expertise in rolling-stock troubleshooting, IGBT-based propulsion systems, and related protocols.
