Description
The Senior Engineer – Technical Field Services provides engineering support for NCEMC’s diesel generation facilities, combustion turbine plants, mobile substations, and member cooperative activities. The role covers field engineering, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance coordination, regulatory compliance, technical documentation, reliability analysis, project and procurement support, and emergency response. It requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and registration as a Professional Engineer in North Carolina, with five years of progressively responsible utility or power-generation engineering experience preferred. The position follows a hybrid schedule of three office days and two remote days, with travel to generation facilities, substations, field sites, and other locations.
