Description
The Android and Embedded Software Engineering Manager will build and manage a team of Android and embedded software engineers focused on Bluetooth and connectivity management for Rivian and Volkswagen vehicle platforms. The role owns the software development strategy, architecture, Android framework and HAL integration, connectivity switching, standards, and delivery, while collaborating with product, UI/UX, and platform teams. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, at least 8 years of software engineering experience including 3+ years in engineering management or technical leadership, strong Android and Bluetooth expertise, and proficiency in Java/Kotlin and C/C++.
