Google is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to protect Android devices from malware, privacy violations, and content abuse by leveraging AI and building infrastructure. The role manages the evolution of a review platform, partners with technical leaders across global sites, guides systems design, writes product or system development code, troubleshoots issues, and reviews other engineers’ code. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, 7 years of technical project strategy and ML infrastructure experience, and 5 years of technical leadership experience; a master’s degree or PhD, complex-organization experience, and anti-abuse or safety experience are preferred. Applicants with a current right to work in Singapore are prioritized, and Google does not require visa sponsorship.
