Description
Apple is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead multiple teams responsible for iCloud's orchestration layer, which coordinates deployment of platform applications, enforces policies, and enables internal engineering teams to build and operate products without managing underlying infrastructure complexity. The role involves guiding architectural direction, scaling operational practices, developing engineering leaders, stabilizing and growing a high-performing team, establishing a technical roadmap, and improving platform reliability and developer experience. The position requires extensive software engineering and engineering leadership experience, including distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, control-plane architecture, production reliability, incident management, and on-call operations.
