Clair is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead and mentor a team of engineers, drive engineering efficiency and output, improve cross-functional workflows, manage process and documentation standards, protect team capacity, encourage AI and tooling innovation, and participate in hiring. The role requires 3–5+ years of direct engineering management experience, strong software engineering knowledge, startup scaling experience, and empathetic leadership. It is a hybrid position based in New York City with at least three office days per week, open to North American remote candidates, and offers an annual base salary of $200,000–$245,000 plus equity, benefits, and additional perks.
