Description
Crusoe is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead an engineering team focused on improving large language model inference in production. The role combines people management, technical direction, hands-on coding and profiling, customer-facing deployment work, and product and technical solutions leadership. Responsibilities include optimizing serving architectures, tuning vLLM and SGLang deployments, analyzing performance down to CUDA kernels, and partnering with customer engineering teams to move workloads from proof of concept to monitored production services. The position requires at least two years of engineering-team leadership experience, a relevant bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree, production software engineering experience, and familiarity with LLM inference optimization and modern serving frameworks. Compensation is up to $250,000-$300,000 plus bonus, with restricted stock units and comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
