Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 6+ years experience leading infrastructure engineering organizations, including experience managing other engineering managers or team leads (manager-of-managers experience)
Preferred Qualifications: Deep understanding of what people – and the leaders responsible for them – need to do their best work
Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering practices: on-call design, incident response, and reliability/availability frameworks (SLOs/SLIs)
Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes in production environments
Familiarity with the operator pattern (Go)
Strong understanding of AWS services, including EKS, VPC/networking fundamentals, and IAM and security architecture
Experience running large-scale distributed systems with high availability
Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CDK, or similar)
Strong communication and leadership skills – able to align teams and leaders, unblock engineers, and move projects forward
