Description
Box is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead an engineering-first FinOps team responsible for forecasting and optimizing public cloud and SaaS/AI spend. The role leads mid-to-senior engineers and data scientists, builds scalable tooling and models on GCP/BigQuery and Python/SQL, translates usage and cost signals into executive insights, drives optimization initiatives, establishes dashboards and metrics, coaches senior individual contributors, and manages the team’s on-call rotation. The position requires at least five years of engineering management experience, a strong technical background, deep Google Cloud Platform experience, and experience managing large datasets and cloud spend. It is a hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the assigned office, with a Redwood City base salary range of $253,000 to $316,000 USD.
