Applied Materials is hiring a Senior Technical Java Manager for its ITPL Bangalore location. The role leads product software development teams of 7–10 developers, owns software features and bug fixes from requirements through deployment, mentors developers, defines functional and design specifications, and works with stakeholders across multiple sites and time zones. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering with a CE/EE background, 14–20 years of total work experience, extensive software development and Java experience, and at least two years of people-management experience. It is a full-time, regular assignee role with 20% travel and relocation eligibility.
