Description

WEX is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead its Mobility Mobile Engineering organization, overseeing the strategy, architecture, roadmap, delivery, reliability, and people development for iOS and Android mobile applications supporting mobility payments, card management, and vehicle management. The role is remote within 30 miles of specified hubs and requires substantial software engineering and engineering management experience, mobile application leadership, security knowledge, cross-functional execution, and people leadership.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Required Previous Experiences: At least 8 years of software engineering experience
At least 4 years of engineering management experience leading software engineering teams
Experience leading native iOS and Android or cross-platform mobile application development
Experience hiring, coaching, managing performance, and developing mobile engineering teams
Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience with shared mobile platforms, SDKs, reusable frameworks, or design systems
Experience with mobile CI/CD, automated testing, release automation, feature flags, and observability
Payment network or card scheme integration experience
Closed-loop or proprietary payment system experience
