Description
Looker is hiring a senior engineering leader to architect and lead the global multi-cloud infrastructure for its Looker Control Plane. The role owns the lifecycle of Looker instances across GCP, including billing, Terraform-based resource provisioning, multi-region GKE orchestration, networking, AI-resource provisioning, and scalable delivery platforms. Responsibilities include defining the technical roadmap, resolving complex infrastructure problems, leading software-engineering teams, and partnering with product and cross-functional stakeholders. The position requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, 8 years of software development experience, 3 years of technical leadership experience including people management, and experience with container orchestration and cloud platforms.
