Athena is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager, Platform to lead the business-critical platform engineering team responsible for sales, partnership operations, retention, AI operations, billing, and internal workflow automation. The role will define platform architecture and technical direction, manage and develop engineers and engineering managers, build reusable platform capabilities, improve reliability and observability, and partner with Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, Data, Sales, and Athena AI. The position requires extensive software engineering and people-management experience, strong platform and backend engineering expertise, and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
