Description
Kong is hiring a Senior Engineering Manager to lead its global Quality Engineering organization and serve as the primary architect of an AI-driven testing strategy. The role oversees distributed SDET teams, integrates LLMs and autonomous test agents into the testing lifecycle, establishes quality strategies for low-latency C/Lua/Rust data planes, modernizes CI/CD and testing automation, and drives shift-left quality and enterprise-grade metrics. Candidates need at least 10 years of software engineering or SDET experience, 4+ years leading distributed engineering or SDET teams, and hands-on experience applying LLMs, generative AI, or autonomous agent frameworks to software quality or developer workflows.
