Ascent is hiring a full-time Senior Environmental Planner for its Environmental Practice in Berkeley, Irvine, Lake Tahoe, San Diego, or Sacramento. The role leads complex CEQA and NEPA environmental planning projects, manages compliance documents, budgets, schedules, and client relationships, provides quality reviews, represents clients at public meetings, supports business development, and mentors junior staff. Candidates need a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, at least eight years of CEQA/NEPA analysis experience, and two to five years managing environmental documents and analyses. The position is hybrid, offers limited travel, and pays $93,600–$145,600.
