Description
The Equipment Engineer will maintain and improve thin-film PVD equipment in a cleanroom production environment, including tool uptime, defect reduction, preventative maintenance, FDC analysis, vendor troubleshooting, tool relocation and commissioning, and cost-reduction projects. The role also provides on-the-job training to junior engineers and maintains a 5S work environment. Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical and electronics engineering, or a related field, and at least five years of experience as an Equipment Engineer in thin-film PVD, including experience with PVD ENDURA 5500.
