Description

W.E. O’Neil is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead GMP and hard-bid estimating efforts, develop conceptual and construction-document estimates, analyze subcontractor scopes and proposals, manage cost and risk, support preconstruction teams, prepare owner proposals, and build subcontractor and stakeholder relationships. The role requires strong construction estimating, scheduling, contract, insurance, software, communication, planning, and leadership capabilities, with regular on-site construction exposure.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Four-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent related experience
Required Previous Experiences: At least 5 years of relevant professional construction estimating experience with a subcontractor or general contractor
Preferred Qualifications: Interest in progressing to Chief Estimator responsibilities
OSHA 30-Hour Safety Course
First Aid and CPR certification
Proficiency with company estimating and project software, including OST, BidMail, BIM 360 Glue, Bluebeam Revu, PlanGrid, CMiC, Box.com, and Dropbox
Knowledge of construction administration processes, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and material procurement
Presentation, proposal review, and client-facing relationship skills
