Description

The Lead Estimator will lead GMP and hard-bid estimating from conceptual budgets through final construction documents, develop subcontractor scopes, analyze bids, evaluate CPM schedules, identify constructability and value-engineering opportunities, manage owner and subcontractor risk and contingency exposure, and handle insurance and contract-cost implications. The role also mentors junior estimators, represents the company in RFP responses and client presentations, and offers a pathway toward Chief Estimator. Requirements include a four-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or an equivalent field, at least five years of estimating experience with a general contractor or subcontractor, proficiency with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, BIM 360 Glue, and PlanGrid, plus OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certification.
