Description
The Senior Estimator prepares bids and estimates for small and large heavy civil projects, including bridge, roadwork, railroad, transit, earthwork, excavation, utilities, and cast-in-place concrete. The role manages estimating teams and subcontractor proposals, oversees quantity takeoffs and means and methods, develops schedules and DBE plans, presents project information to executive management, and mentors junior and mid-level team members. Candidates need 15 years of heavy civil, highway, and bridge construction experience, 15 years of estimating or project management experience, and prior lead-estimator experience on projects exceeding $50 million.
