The role performs IP DRG coding audits, completes audits to quality and production standards, maintains productivity and clarification logs, escalates issues and identifies trends, and ensures HIPAA and OIG compliance. It requires CCS and CIC certifications, a bachelor's degree in nursing or science, and at least two years of IP DRG coding or auditing experience. The position is full-time at 40 hours per week.
