Description
Vodafone is hiring a Senior Expert Fixed Access Network Engineer to lead the development and implementation of scalable optical fixed-network access solutions, including GPON, XGS-PON, future PON technologies, and P2P Ethernet fiber. The role covers SDN-based network management, supplier and technical contractual management, budget estimation, and technical leadership of external team members. It requires strong expertise in access technologies, network protocols, OSS and SDN interfaces, and English communication, and can be filled full-time or in near full-time part-time for at least 30 hours per week. The position is based at Vodafone GmbH’s Eschborn office with a hybrid work arrangement.
