Description
The Semiconductor Failure Analysis Scientist performs surface characterization, sample preparation, visual and electrical testing, data analysis, failure-mode investigation, documentation, reporting, and training for semiconductor components and devices. The role requires an associate degree, a bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred, at least two years of semiconductor wafer-fab failure-analysis experience, familiarity with wafer fabrication, clean-room and ESD-protected-area experience, and strong communication and English skills. The position may require longer hours, supplier visits, and work in a laboratory with equipment requiring a standing posture.
