Description
The Semiconductor Failure Analysis Engineer performs surface characterization, sample preparation, visual and electrical testing, data analysis, and failure analysis on semiconductor components and devices. The role includes troubleshooting, documenting results, preparing reports, training others, and writing failure-analysis procedures. It requires an associate degree, a bachelor’s or master’s degree preferred, at least two years of semiconductor wafer-fab failure-analysis experience, familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and clean-room work, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
