Description
PsiQuantum is hiring a Senior Fiber Assembly Process Engineer to develop advanced instrumentation for high-performance, high-throughput fiber splicing and improve fiber and splice reliability at datacenter scale. The role combines fiber engineering, opto-mechanical automation, optical assembly manufacturing, and semiconductor process development, including root-cause analysis of splice loss, equipment development, measurement methodology creation, optical modeling, and validation of fiber interfaces. Candidates need an MSc or PhD in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience, at least five years of fiber optics and optical system development and assembly experience, and proficiency in Python and JMP. The position offers full-time eligibility for equity and benefits, with base salary ranging from $105,500 to $177,200 USD depending on the applicable U.S. geographic zone.
