Overview.ai is hiring a senior field engineer to own uptime and line performance for AI computer-vision systems deployed on manufacturing production lines. The role integrates PLC-to-device communication, troubleshoots industrial networks and triggering issues, debugs sensors and signal conditioning, interprets PLC logic, and builds repeatable integration standards. It also requires on-site customer leadership, training of automation personnel, and capturing detailed issue reports for product improvement. The position requires deep PLC and controls experience, at least five years in controls, automation, or field engineering in high-volume manufacturing, industrial-network expertise, electrical-debugging skills, Mandarin fluency, and working English.
