Astro Mechanica is hiring a Senior Flight Software Engineer to develop reliable autonomous software systems and the simulations and infrastructure needed to validate them. The role owns software development across design, testing, and operations, and collaborates with other engineering disciplines to design aircraft systems. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 4+ years of software development experience, or 6+ years of professional software development experience, along with experience in systems programming, real-time or distributed computing, embedded systems, or the Linux kernel. The role emphasizes in-office work five days per week.
