Senior Flight Software Engineer at Lux Aeterna

Lux Aeterna is hiring a Senior Flight Software Engineer to develop and validate safety-critical flight software for a reusable satellite platform. The role covers autonomous spacecraft operations, Linux-based avionics and propulsion software, real-time embedded systems, fault-tolerant and fault-detection software, communication and telemetry protocols, distributed software architecture, and SIL/HITL testing. The position is based in Denver, Colorado, with onsite work five days per week by default and travel to vendor, partner, launch, and recovery sites. The anticipated base salary is $150,000–$250,000 per year, with equity compensation and medical, dental, vision, paid time off, holidays, and a 401(k) plan.
