Description
Rocket Lab is hiring a Senior Flight Software Engineer I based in Littleton, Colorado to develop flight software for spacecraft and space systems. The role covers embedded software design and development for RTOS and embedded Linux, hardware drivers for spacecraft sensors and actuators, unit testing, continuous integration, hardware-in-the-loop validation, requirements work, code reviews, design reviews, and on-orbit flight operations. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, hold a relevant bachelor's degree, have at least five years of embedded software development experience, and be proficient in C and C++ with RTOS or embedded Linux experience. The position offers a base salary of $115,000 to $150,000 USD, plus medical, dental, vision, retirement, leave, and other benefits.
