Description
Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is hiring an experienced Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) System Design Engineer to support the F-35 program. The role designs, integrates, tests, troubleshoots, installs, calibrates, and maintains airborne data acquisition and flight-test instrumentation systems, including telemetry, signal-conditioning hardware, fiber systems, and ground support equipment. The engineer will coordinate with test operations, maintenance, and management, support preflight, post-flight, and control-room activities, and may lead a team. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electronics or electrical engineering or equivalent experience, at least five years of related professional experience, and proficiency with laboratory instrumentation and avionics protocols. The full-time salary range is $85,300 to $158,300, with medical, dental, vision, flexible work arrangements, and other benefits.
