Description
AECOM is hiring a Senior Flood Modeller for its Water Business Line to deliver hydraulic and water quality modelling, flood risk assessments, reservoir studies, hydrological assessments, tender support, and client-facing technical work across the UK and beyond. The role involves mentoring junior staff, developing modelling approaches, maintaining regulatory and legislative knowledge, and using project management systems. It requires significant experience with hydraulic and water quality modelling software, knowledge of Environment Agency requirements, a relevant bachelor's degree, and a CIWEM or similar professional qualification; Python, Anaconda, or Ruby scripting is advantageous. The position offers hybrid working and flexible part-time or flexible arrangements.
