The role involves translating complex technical requirements into scalable software solutions, designing and operating production systems, prototyping, building reusable engineering tools, and mentoring engineers. It requires 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, strong TypeScript, React, and backend architecture skills, and experience with relational databases, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and production systems on AWS or GCP.
