Databricks is hiring a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer at a Technical Architect level in London, United Kingdom, on a hybrid basis. The role is customer-facing and billable, requiring the engineer to lead end-to-end data, AI, and application solutions using the Databricks platform, including architecture, production systems, data pipelines, ML/AI model integration, customer implementation, and reusable technical assets. The position requires experience in data engineering, data platforms, analytics, or software engineering; Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frameworks; cloud expertise; Apache Spark; CI/CD; MLOps; and enterprise client delivery. Travel to customers is required 20% of the time.
