Description

Philips is hiring a Senior FPGA Developer to design, verify, and integrate high-performance real-time control solutions for next-generation CT platforms. The role requires 5+ years of FPGA development experience, strong VHDL or Verilog/SystemVerilog proficiency, FPGA design and verification expertise, and experience with timing closure, interfaces, memory architectures, and hardware/software integration. The position is office-based and requires working in person at least four days per week.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of FPGA development experience in industrial, medical, communication, imaging, or other high-reliability products
Hands-on experience with AMD/Xilinx or Intel/Altera FPGA development tools
Experience achieving timing closure on medium- to high-complexity FPGA designs
Experience with FPGA simulation, debugging, and laboratory instruments
Experience with FPGA interfaces, memory architectures, DMA, and hardware/software integration
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with high-speed transceivers, SERDES, PCIe, DDR3/DDR4, Ethernet, or JESD204 interfaces
Experience with image acquisition, real-time image processing, motor control, or data-acquisition systems
Experience developing FPGA solutions for medical devices or regulated products
Familiarity with functional safety and medical device design-control processes
Experience with FPGA verification methodologies, SystemVerilog assertions, UVM, or formal verification
Knowledge of embedded C/C++, Linux drivers, or FPGA SoC platforms
Experience leading technical projects or mentoring engineers
