Description

Collectors is seeking a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join their Customer Experience engineering team. The role involves building polished, performant, and user-centered digital products and platforms for collectors. Responsibilities include participating in the entire software development lifecycle, leading frontend application development using various technologies like JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Svelte, and NextJS, collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting issues, developing tests, contributing to technical documentation, and leveraging AI tooling.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years of software engineering experience building consumer facing web applications
4+ years of experience / strong proficiency in React and Next.js
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Svelte is a plus
Fluent in TypeScript, JavaScript and not afraid to take on other new technologies
Experience with Tailwind CSS
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proficient at using appropriate security, testing, documentation, and/or monitoring best practices
Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Comfortable using AI tooling, preferably Claude, to support solution design, and software implementation in day-to-day engineering work
