Description
Base is hiring a senior or staff-level Frontend Engineer to lead development of its customer-facing web and mobile applications. The role owns major product surfaces, sets frontend architecture and technical strategy, partners with product and design, collaborates with backend engineers on APIs and data models, establishes engineering standards, mentors engineers, and uses analytics and experimentation to improve the member experience. The position requires at least seven years of production software experience, deep expertise in TypeScript and modern web frameworks such as React or Next.js, and experience architecting complex systems.
