Description
Medicspot, now part of Doctor Care Anywhere, is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer as the third member of its engineering team. The role involves building and owning reliable frontend, backend, and database features; integrating payments, pharmacy, and communications services; improving platform architecture, security, performance, and reliability; investigating production issues; and contributing to engineering standards. The team uses TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, Supabase, REST APIs, Vercel, CI/CD, automated testing, Sentry, monitoring, and AI-assisted development. The role requires at least five years of professional software development experience, strong TypeScript and React skills, backend/API development, relational database and SQL knowledge, and experience in a small, fast-moving company. Salary is £80,000–£90,000, with hybrid working and a stated application deadline of 21 August 2026.
