Description

ServiceNow is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer for its AI Experience Framework (AIUX) team to own full-stack architectural decisions for modern JavaScript and component-driven AI user interfaces. The role covers product requirements, software development, AI integration, performance and scale, SSR runtime architecture, the ServiceNow Glide platform, Node.js systems, JVM/Maven backends, code and technical direction, and mentoring. Candidates need a master's degree in a relevant field, at least three years of professional software engineering experience, strong JavaScript and Java or similar OO-language expertise, modern UI framework experience, database and SSR knowledge, and systems-level Node.js experience. The position offers a base salary of $130,000 to $145,000 plus equity, variable compensation, and benefits.

Additional Information

Minimum Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
Required Previous Experiences: 3 years of professional software engineering experience with JavaScript and Java or a similar OO language
Experience as a senior individual contributor responsible for code quality and mentoring
Experience with modern UI frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue, or Lit
Experience with relational databases, including development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
Experience with server-side rendering and hydration, including isomorphic rendering failure modes
Systems-level Node.js experience involving process isolation, HTTP semantics, reverse proxying, and concurrent versioned rollouts
Experience working across a JVM/Maven backend and a Node/TypeScript SSR stack
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with build systems emitting multiple targets from one component source
Hands-on Kubernetes service operations, including deployment, scaling, rollout, rollback, and incident response
Experience building and maintaining observability tooling for production systems
