Spark Hire is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the development of a modern, AI-assisted tax filing platform. The role is full-time and remote, with U.S. business hours, and requires ownership of features from concept through deployment. Responsibilities include designing scalable architecture, building Python/FastAPI backend services and REST APIs, developing frontend interfaces, implementing validation and secure data handling, writing comprehensive tests, and collaborating with product stakeholders. The position requires at least five years of full-stack software engineering experience, strong Python and FastAPI expertise, modern JavaScript frontend experience, and daily use of Cursor and Claude Code.
