Spark Hire is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to lead the development of a modern, AI-assisted tax filing platform. The role is full-time and remote, with U.S. business hours, and requires ownership of features from concept through deployment. Responsibilities include designing scalable architecture, building Python/FastAPI backend services and REST APIs, developing frontend interfaces, implementing validation and security, writing tests, and collaborating with product stakeholders. The position requires at least five years of full-stack software engineering experience, strong Python and FastAPI expertise, modern JavaScript frontend experience, and daily use of Cursor and Claude Code.
