BVU is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Software Developer to develop customer-specific software for rail timetable design, scheduling, dispatching, track routing, and related mobility applications. The role covers the full software lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, commissioning, quality assurance, and acceptance, and involves collaboration with transport engineers and customers. The position requires a STEM master’s degree, approximately five years of software development experience, knowledge of Java or Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and Spring Boot or Quarkus with React or an equivalent frontend technology, along with German proficiency at C1 level. The role is based in Freiburg and offers mobile working within the operational organization.
