Description

Informed Solutions is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and deliver complex digital solutions for the public sector. The role involves owning service delivery, leading architecture and design, supporting delivery planning, building stakeholder trust, and mentoring colleagues. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in a Full Stack Engineering role, strong proficiency in .NET, Java, or Python, and familiarity with modern JavaScript libraries. They will also need hands-on expertise with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, and exposure to CI/CD tools.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: 5+ years’ proven experience in a Full Stack Engineering role
Experience taking ownership of delivery for services or significant components across the full lifecycle from design to operation.
Strong understanding of architectural and design patterns, including serverless and microservices, with the ability to lead and assure their application.
Experience working in Agile environments, using Scrum, Kanban and test-driven development (TDD), and contributing to delivery planning and estimation.
Experience mentoring and supporting less experienced engineers, providing guidance and enabling high-quality, efficient delivery.
Proven experience engaging with clients, taking ownership of technical decisions and delivery outcomes, and building trusted relationships.
Hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), delivering scalable, secure and well-architected solutions.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and/or Terraform.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a consultancy environment, engaging with external stakeholders and clients.
Exposure to public sector projects and delivering solutions in complex organisational landscapes.
