Description

DICE is hiring a Senior Fullstack Engineer for its Product Growth squad to architect and develop complex, high-load backend systems in Elixir, React, GraphQL, and REST, while supporting distributed systems, third-party integrations, CDN and edge caching, database performance, accessibility, SEO, and browser testing. The role also involves leading technical discussions, mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, and improving testing, documentation, and maintainability. The position is remote and requires UK-timezone availability within +/- 2 hours.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Extensive production experience with Elixir, OTP, and Phoenix, or deep expertise in another functional language with a willingness to master Elixir quickly.
Proven experience with React and knowledge of modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Strong track record designing and developing distributed systems at scale.
Experience integrating complex third-party services and handling failure scenarios.
Experience with CDN and edge caching.
Deep understanding of PostgreSQL and Redis database internals and query performance optimisation.
Understanding of accessibility and SEO, plus familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions within a team.
Preferred Qualifications: Specific experience with Cloudflare.
Experience with MarTech platforms such as Braze or Iterable.
